Pay my bill online with SmartHub

Co-op members can view and pay their electric bills online with this free and secure service.  SmartHub will notify you when your bill is ready, past due, etc.  You can also view a two year history of payments and readings of your account.  Go to SmartHub to sign up now.  You can also use your smart device by going to the app store and downloading the smart app.

Automatic payments

With this service, a member needs only a checking/savings account or debit/credit card, and we do the rest.  Members receive their bills each month, by paper or electronically, and the payments are automatically withdrawn from the accounts on the 25th of every month.  Complete this form and send it to Franklin REC or go to SmartHub and sign up!

Budget billing

With this service, members know exactly what their electric bills will be each month.  When members sign up for our budget billing, we base their bills on the past 12 months usage.  Budget billing accounts are reviewed in May and November.  Participants are notified at those times, if adjustments are needed, on their statements.

Credit or debit card payments

Yes, members may use MasterCard, Visa or Discover card to pay monthly bill. We have several options to choose from. To pay by phone please use 1-844-344-4370 and follow the prompts, you will need your account number or phone number associated with the account to use this service. This service this accessible 24/7.  We can no longer accept credit/debit card payments by phone in the office, we can accept payments in person at the office Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Members can go online with SmartHub or the Pay Now option for 24/7 service .

Night depository payments

Place payments in Franklin REC's night depository box located to the left of the front door, at the REC office North of Hampton.  To avoid confusion, include the bottom portion of the bill with your payment.

Pay by mail

When paying  by mail, payments should be mailed to our office at Franklin REC, P.O. Box 437, Hampton, IA 50441.  Members should return the bottom portion of the bill with their payment and use the return envelope provided.  Allow four to five working days for processing.

Pay in person

Payments are accepted at our office located at 1560 Highway 65, Hampton, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. We accept cash, check, money orders, or debit & credit cards in the office.

First Bank Hampton

Payments can be made at First Bank Hampton,  please include the bottom portion of the bill with the payment.
