At Franklin REC, we are committed to providing our members with transparent and competitive rates. Our rates are carefully reviewed and approved by the Franklin REC Board of Directors, who make educated decisions to ensure the cost of service meets the needs of our members while keeping the cooperative fiscally responsible. This process allows us to continue delivering reliable electricity to our community.

Below, you will find a detailed summary of our current rates. If you have questions or need help understanding how these rates apply to your service, our team is here to assist.

Idle Service Status

An idle service refers to an electric service that has been disconnected at the member's request but remains physically intact (e.g., wires, poles, meters, etc.) and is not removed. Although the service is considered "inactive," it still requires ongoing maintenance, inspection, and incurs costs such as taxes and regulatory fees that the cooperative continues to bear.
