Latimer Industrial Park Expands to Support Economic Growth

Franklin REC, Franklin County Development Association (FCDA), and Corn Belt Power Cooperative have partnered with the Latimer Development Corporation (LDC) to support the expansion of the Latimer Industrial Park. This collaboration provides funding to assist LDC in purchasing land adjacent to the existing industrial park, paving the way for future development and growth opportunities.

To facilitate the land acquisition, Franklin REC and Corn Belt Power each closed initial Revolving Loan Funds of $176,850, while FCDA secured an initial loan of $26,850.

Located just one mile east of Interstate 35 on Highway 3, the Latimer Industrial Park offers a prime location for business development. Through this partnership, the City of Latimer, LDC, Franklin REC, FCDA, and Corn Belt Power are working together to enhance economic opportunities and foster growth for the community, county, and region.
